Our Stores Apprenticeship Programme
Pop into an Aldi store, and you won’t see any dilly-dallying. Our people know what needs to be done, and they just get on and do it. It’s simple really, but it does take lots of drive. But if you’ve got that, our Store Apprenticeship Programmes won’t just give you a great start to our careers it will put you on the right road to success. And if you combine hard work, ambition and an ability to apply yourself to any challenge, you could make it all the way to Store Management.
There are two pathways available for our Retail Apprenticeships:
Career Starter – For applicants with no previous qualifications you can apply for a Level 2 Retailer Apprenticeship which takes around 12-15 months to complete. You will also complete Functional Skills at Level 2 alongside this.
Store Management Apprenticeship – For applicants that already have their GCSE’s in Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalents) you can apply for our Store Management Apprenticeship programme. You will complete both Level 2 Retailer and Level 3 Retail Team Leader which takes up to 36 months to complete.
Our Logistics Apprenticeship Programme
This Level 2 programme gives you a rare insight from some of the industry’s most talented people. You’ll learn all about how our products get from suppliers to our customers’ shopping baskets, and work your way towards a Level 2 Supply Chain Operative qualification. It’s a fascinating process, with lots going on, but you’ll discover all the techniques to take on this rewarding challenge. And, with a structured career path, you’ll be well on the way to becoming a success within our business.
Our Drivers Apprenticeship Programme
To get on the Drivers Apprenticeship at Aldi, you’ve got to be pretty good behind the wheel. (After all, you do need a full and clean UK Driving licence.) But we’re also just as interested in how driven you are. Because to really succeed, you have to grab every opportunity that comes your way. If you do, you’ll get some of the best people in the industry teaching you, and be well on your way to starting a career packed with rewarding moments. We have great camaraderie here, and give our people (yep, even our apprentices) bags of responsibility. But if you like that, then you’ll fit right in. And if all’s gone well, you’ll have a Category C + E licence at the end of the year, and be offered a permanent role in Aldi.
Salary ranges from £11,500 – £18,000 as an apprentices.
