My name is Lucy Sexton and I am a fifth year medical student at the University of Glasgow. I am the School Liaison Coordinator for the student-led society, Medic Insight Glasgow. We are a voluntary group of medical students who work to provide work experience and informatory sessions for pupils wishing to study Medicine at university.
Our first event of the year will be our annual Interview Night, on the 14th November. This event is aimed at 6th year pupils who have sent in their UCAS application for Medicine. This evening will involve talks from medical students from 1st-5th year and also provide an opportunity for pupils to practice their interview skills.
This event will take place on the 14th November at 7pm in the Boyd Orr building, situated on University Avenue in the West End of Glasgow. The exact room is still to be confirmed. Pupils should use this link to signify their attendance:
Pupils should have a think about any questions they would like to ask on the night. Parents are also very welcome to this event and will have the opportunity to ask questions separately to the pupils.
If any pupil requires help with this they should see Mr Colgan or Mr McCarthy
