If you’re leaving school, it’s not easy to decide on your next move. Should you go on to university and continue learning? Or do you move into the world of work and start earning?
Both options have their pros and cons, but an M&S Apprenticeship offers the best of both worlds. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop the skills needed to forge a career with one of the UK’s favourite retailers, gain a nationally recognised qualification – and, what’s more, earn good money while you’re doing it.
Marks and Spencer offer Apprenticeships in Retail, Distribution and Head Office. On all their schemes, they take their responsibilities towards young people seriously, helping them to do more and be more. As well as learning from people in your team who have been there, seen it and done it, more formal coaching and training will give you the skills that will stand you in good stead for the rest of your career.

About the programme
The Marks and Spencer Management Scheme for School Leavers is evolving. They’re investing their decades of experience in this area to form the Retail Management Apprenticeship for School Leavers. You’ll still get to experience every conceivable aspect of Store Operations. But, now, there’s an added element of accredited training.
Over 12 to 18 months, you’ll get to experience retail in real time. Food; Fashion; Home; and Store Operations. Managing £multi-million budgets. Leadership and people management skills. All this and more is part of the package. You’ll be coached and mentored throughout. And by the time you’ve finished, you’ll be ready to take on the role of a Commercial Manager and responsibility for an entire department. Not to mention obtaining a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship qualification in Retail Management.
Applications are now open for the 2018 intake.
