Amey has successfully secured a number of new contracts in Scotland, and are seeking to recruit Apprentices, to assist in the delivery of these exciting and challenging new projects. You will be tasked with helping deliver high-profile and ambitious programmes, guided by some of the most knowledgeable engineering experts in the UK.

What might a typical day in this job look like?

You will be responsible for assisting the Engineering Team with the production of design solutions whilst supporting with reporting and administration duties. The Civil Engineering Apprentice will be enrolled onto our Higher level apprenticeship and study part time towards a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Civil Engineering.

You’ll also have:
• A-level (or equivalent) A* – C
• Commitment to studying towards a nationally recognised qualification
• Excellent teamwork skills
• A willingness to learn and keen to progress
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks

You can expect to earn £12,074 – £14,489 per year whilst studying towards your degree at Glasgow Caledonian University. The position is based in Motherwell and covers a 40 hour working week.
