Get Skilled stands offer in-depth knowledge about certain industries. You can discover new talents and try a variety of different skills when you get hands-on with a Get Skilled activity.
Experts are always on hand to help as you learn something new and try work-based skills; the aim is to ensure each Get Skilled stand represents a different career sector so to promote as wide a range as possible to you, the visitors.
The Apprenticeship Theatre offers a full programme of exhibitor led seminars promoting apprenticeship options for students. Sessions will have a limited number of spaces and booked groups will be given priority to attend.

Trinity High School will be attending on Wednesday, 06 November, from 1100-1430.
The event consists of an initial 1hr interactive session from 11am. Skills Scotland have teamed up with an exciting array of talent to put on a mental health session with a difference! During the one hour show pupils will be entertained by a variety of acts and speakers including TedX speaker Jamala Osman and will experience an interactive session from the amazing Professor Til Wykes from Kings College.
Following this session, pupils will be able to wander around the exhibits and stalls and meet face to face with employers, training providers, colleges, universities and professional bodies to find out what’s on offer.
Confirmed exhibitors include: Scottish Government (Careers); NHS Careers; Royal Navy and Royal Marines; Stewart Milne Group; CITB Construction; BAE Systems; Diageo; University of Strathclyde; City of Glasgow College and Glasgow Kelvin College amongst many more.
