Embedding Employability Skills across the Curriculum
We canvassed our staff, pupils and parents to consider the employability skills that are most relevant to our young people and our whole community. The skills we have agreed upon are, INITIATIVE, CRITICAL THINKING, COLLABORATING and COMMUNICATION. But what do these skills actually look like?
INITIATIVE
Our pupils display qualities such as courage, responsibility, self motivation, and independent thinking across all subjects within our curriculum.
They do this when they complete work without having to be continually encouraged. They show it when challenging themselves to undertake difficult tasks. They demonstrate motivation when working to their full potential.
